JMO, but I think the closest you're going to come, if you don't want one of the several 7400s in .243 that are available, is to get a 6mm M742.

I see, however, they did make the 7400 in 6mm because I used to own one but sold it long time ago...I have the identical gun in 243, you coould not tell them apart, they were identical rifles....Thanks for the input
