Hey MSP Ret, Have you been able to get the brenneke classic 16ga. slugs? If so, are they good shooters? From my recent experience the brenneke slugs are the best. Anyway, sure hope you can get them.

Hi buddy, have not been able to get any yet, Kittery Trading Post says they are back-ordered. Brenneke America put me in touch with their distributor who put me in touch with the local distributor in Ct (Jerry Sport Shop IIRC) who says they have them in stock. They are sitting there but I cannot get them, typical business nowadays....<><....:(

P.S. I live in the Peoples Socialist Republic of Massachusetts so most dealers have been wrongly advised by the powers to be that they cannot ship ammunition into the state for sale to individuals and are subject to prosecution if they do. This is a lie and the truth is all they need is a signed affidavit from the buyer stating he/she is of age and not prohibited by purchasing the ammo but sellers are running scared because the state has lied to them..these democrats here really hate guns and anything to do with them....<><....:(

Would that I could buddy, would that I could. I went pig hunting down in your part of the country (Texas) one year and it was great down there. A great friendly place for hunters and shooters from what I could see. Mass was bad even though our last fine Governor did his best against the entrenched liberals here. Now however we have a regular gun and gun-owner hating liberal/socialist as Governor, Duval Patrick. Our taxes, costs and expenses are spiraling out of sight and he just endorsed Barack Obama for President. Heaven help us all...please....<><....:)

Andy, sorry to hear that. Why do the people keep electing K & K to represent them? I guess I'm fortunate to be living in the "dog-fightin', redneck South, although we have our share of the socialist elite down here. But I know there are good people everywhere. We would be glad to have you down here,Andy, even though you "talk funny". Just kiddin', of course and enough about politics. I'm interested in the 16ga. Brennekes also-didn't know they made them. Let us know, good buddy. Archie-Hunman55

Your a good judge of character.  "Y'all" would do well to have Andy and his wife as residents.  They are good people.  And, according to my wife,  Andy does talk funny.   ;D

In boot camp I had to get up on a top bunk and say things like "Park your car in the Harvard Yards" and "Horse" (pronounced "HOSS" around here by Boston born Yankees like myself) and everyone would laugh, I could not understand why, it was everyone else that had an accent!!! My wife is from Western Pennsylvania and even she thinks I speak funny. Just this morning I ran the possibility by her of selling the house some day and moving to a less liberal part of the country. Lets just say she is less than enthusiastic about leaving the Cape and being far from the Kids and grandchildren....<><....:)

Yup, grandchildren would be my only leverage in moving anywhere else.  Bigjeepman just moved a few miles from some of my grandchildren, but others are here in IL and in the military currently in Froghunter's neighborhood.

Hey MSP Ret you can always move here where I live! I'd be proud to have you and your wife as neighbors! I'm from the northeast of Pennsylvania and it's not a problem to purchase firearms or ammunition here. My huntin buddys an myself would surely welcome an educated well trained smoothbore shotgun shooter anyday! Maybe I can help you out with those brenneke 16's. <>< yar

Has anyone tried Gander Mtn for the brenneke 16s? I could have sworn I saw some there two weeks ago, the Pittsburgh store.

Thanks yar, I have hunted PA before, but out in the western section, around the McKeesport area. More specifically, my wife is originally from Mckeesport and I hunted around that area and also deer hunted in Clearfield PA, up on Clearfield Mountain with my brother-in-law. There are a lot of deer iand Turkeys in PA that's for sure. The people are nice and friendly also.....<><....:)
