shot my .22 Jet today.......
« on: June 15, 2003, 03:23:20 PM »
This thing is almost as fun as my 6mmBR.I tested out some loads today and lets just say they shot very, very little bug hole groups at 50 yards.

12" Bullberry heavy-barrel with a 3.5x10x40 Simmons White-tall Classic
Load 1.) Speer 45gr Hornet with 9.06grs of H-4227
Load 2.)Hornady 45gr Hornet with 10grs of 2400

Next load will be with H-110 and some chrono tests as well.

:) Have to agree!  Have a 12", 22 Jet, TCA Assoc., barrel. Loaded with
45 grainers & 2400 powder. Extremely accurate at 100 yds. Took a rock chuck in Colo with it who was sun bathing on a big boulder and nearly 75 yds.  One shot and he was lying on his back with all 4 feet in he air. He hollered I'm a Jet believer just before he expired.  Great little caliber varmint round & under rated by many.
