winchester 1300 barrel question

I have a friend who has a winchester 1300 20 ga and he has been looking for a new barrel for it. He recently found a shop that had a couple different barrels. Question here is will a 12 ga 0r 16 ga barrel fit a gun that came stock as a 20 ga . Thanks for any info.

No.  Different guages will not interchange. However, with the Winchester pump action shotguns, barrels from a 1200, 120, Ranger, or possibly even a few Sears/Ted Williams models will interchange with a 1300, (of the same guage). Biggest difference will be the finish. Matte vs high polish blue.
