Pillar Bedding the For-end

I have a stainless Pro hunter frame, a EAB precision Barrel in .280, and a Boyds thumb hole Walnut stock. I am not impressed by the fit of the Boyds heavy barrel for-end. I was considering pillar bedding it. What would be the difference between pillar bedding and using the Bullberry hangar bar system?

If the Bullberry hangbar system works...use it. It's quick 'n easy and it works well.
