T/C QLA question
« on: October 24, 2007, 03:15:58 PM »
Does the encore 209x50 pistol barrel have this QLA at the end of the barrel like the rifle does?

This used barrel that I got does not have it so this is why I ask.
I am going to call the factory when I get a chance but thought someone here would know the answer.

Let me know

Thanks

I'm way behind the curve on T/C muzzleloader info, but I don't think they ever offered the QLA on handgun barrels. As you say, I do know that the early barrels did not have the feature, and that seemed strange to me at the time. A good Smith could counter-bore the muzzle and give you the same effect. Local black powder guys were doing that here in the mid seventies, long before T/C.

Ken ONeill, they sure did come with the QLA,I know mine did. Two Bears called T/C and found out the early M/L pistol barrels did not come with the QLA from the factory, but later on all the factory barrels came with the QLA. In the custom shop, you can order them either way.
