 I was wondering how to take the bolt out for cleaning

pull you bolt all the way back then reach down on the right side of the bolt head and lift the "tab" up. You will need to push the tab down to reinstall the bolt.

Mine has a spring loaded tab that has to be pushed down before the bolt can be pulled completely to the rear and the bolt head rotated.

There are three different ways of bolt removal depending on where it was made and when. A picture of the right bolt rail would help determine which one you have.

I know of 2, a spring detent that was overcome by forcing the bolt head over it and the tab that had to be pushed down. Don't recall the 3rd.

The third type was a slot machined in the fore part of the bolt rail. It was a war time expedient and is found on US made No4's if memory serves me.
