« on: June 16, 2003, 10:42:46 AM »
I just revieved my second barreled action from Samco its a M1895 Chilean DWM 7MM Mauser Barreled reciever $89.95 and both of them have  the Cougerand Gold Mine stamp on it these rifles were made for the Boers to guard the gold mines.                       BigBill

I noticed the markings on a chilean rifle on oldgunsupply its the same markings on my two recievers.

Kinda cool piece of history. Too bad they can't talk.
Are you going to restore or build a sporter?

I'm doing both restoring and building a sporter but in the orginal wood furniture they look awesome when refinished.            Bigbill
