Question about 270 grain TSX bullet
« on: October 26, 2007, 10:51:31 AM »
Hello:

Does the .375 H&H magnum Barnes 270 grain TSX bullet expand reasonably well on lighter game of the size of a pronghorn?  Thanks.

I cannot speak to this from first hand experience. However there is a very good video of a TSX bullet expanding within the first inch or two of a geletin block on the barnes website.  Seems like they should expand without any problem. I doubt you would ever be able to recover one from a pronghorn unless there are a dozen standing side by side, and that may not even be enough either!
