First arctic goose!

Had this guy come into my duck spread this mornin,never even seen one before.Its a subspecies of the arctic bean goose common to Russia and the alutian islands WAY north of here.My new pup Babe thinks hes great.

That is pretty awesome.  I have never even heard of them and would have just assumed it was some kind of strange looking specklebelly if I shot one.  They do look a little similar.

You may want to mount that one if not too much $$$$.

I will mount it myself,I did 2 ducks last winter and they turned out good,i cant wait to get this guy on the wall,im sure i will never get a shot a goose this unique here in MT,I guess hunting birds 2-3 days a week for 3 months you are bound to get lucky eventually!
