Where have all the eBay people gone?
« on: October 27, 2007, 01:45:13 PM »
I did a lot of eBay business when they had gun parts, especially shotgun barrels. I have looked on Gunbroker and Auction arms but have only found a small ration of what was on eBay. Is there another site I a missing? Please help, Shotgunner

Very good question. I have wondered the same. I had hoped that some would have trickle down to GBO but I see no evidence of that whats so ever. I am really wasting my breath here. The moderator on this site is going to throw this in the trash as soon as he sees it. He will say this is not a forum for commentary and there are plenty other forums for such a thing as usual. If you want this to be heard you should probably post it else where. If you post it some where else ( Let me know ) I myself would like to see the replies. Dale

I posted in a couple of other places, shotguns and cast bullets I think. I was not sure where it might work best and this was the only place I got a response. If someone wants it somewhere else I would be happy to be there, suggestions are welcome. You can still get stocks and grips on eBay, but that is about all. There were literally 100s of barrels and many other parts, they must be somewhere. I once bought a 1917 cylinder and put an old S&W back in action. I have upgraded several shotguns with vent rib barrels, like my son's left handed 870. I am not trying to run anyone out of this site, just looking for things I need. Shotgunner

I went to the local gun show yesterday and there wasn't much more reloading supplies than usual. My guess would be that a complete evolution will take place like happened on Ebay years back so sit tight, they'll probably come out of the woodwork in a few years. Many Ebay sellers that I spoke to about the firearm supplies ban didn't even know that other firearm auction sites existed.
