Stoeger B50 .22

Recently purchased what I think is my first decent air rifle, though it is Chinese made it is accurate, shooting sitting it will group under 1" at 30yds  for 10 shots, on Saturday after training my Spaniel, was driving down the track when I spotted a hare, grabbed the B50, by this time it had hopped off into the tussock and long grass, stalked it and saw it twice before getting close enough for a standing shot about 20yds, took the shot and heard a solid thack and figured my shot was good, went to area it was and couldn't find any blood or sign of the hare, maybe I messed up, went back and got Jasper dog from the car, put him into the area that the hare was when I took the shot, 40 seconds later he went into hyper drive and 5yds later he had a very dead hare, slug went just behind one of the front legs and mushed the lungs, no meat damage, yeha, had hare casserole for dinner last night, so good,
regards Howard.
