What is the difference between a Mod 7 and 700 SA Receiver

Is there a difference in the receiver of a Mod 7 and a short action Mod 700?  I know the barrels are different.

The older Models 7s were three screws for the scope mount I think the newer ones are 4 screws or the same as the 700 SA.

The Model 7 is 1/2" shorter.
