K or L frame .44 Special.
Vaquaro in .44 Special.

I'd like to see a switch caliber straight pull like the Blaser R93 that goes for under $1000.
I'd really like to see an affordable double rifle ($1500 or less) that didn't look like it was whittled by a cub scout...
It would be nice to have more access to some euro style rifles... I really dig that bavarian stock and mannlicher style forend.   Guess that's why I'm getting the CZ, but I wish it were American made...
I too wish that the major manufacturer would solicit ideas like this, then they could put up a poll and we could all vote.  Highest vote getter would be produced.
I wish American car manufacturers would do the same thing.  Then maybe we could get some light duty diesel pickups and some high-mpg diesel cars like that have here in Europe...

I would also like to see a lever action rifle similar to Brownings with a steel receiver and control round feed like the Mauser action, but in a fast handling lever.

Just a note... RUGER has a link on their website to submit ideas directly to their CEO.  Check it out... I already put in my wishes...

Ruger #1 in 6.5x55 Swede, .260, or even 7mm-08.

Vaquaro in .44 Special.

The #1 was chambered in 7-08 a while back but not many were produced. A special run of the 6.5x55 #1's was made last year for Lipsey's who will have  KRSI-M77 in that chambering later this year.

Any .44 special Ruger won't be on the vaquero frame now that it's been replaced with the New vaquero.  However, all nes is not bad.  I'm heard on more than one occasion...I also know at least two sources have such a model on thier "noteworthy" list for a distributor edition.

A remake of the 'Webley?" Auto revolver.  When fired it revolved the cylinder and cocked the hammer.  Never seen one.

Ya' know what else I'd like to see?  Just for s's and g's I'd like to see a revolving carbine that would handle a heavy pistol/light rifle round.  I would love to see a DA revolving carbine in .45 Colt.  If it had the standard swing out cylinder, it would be great for fairly rapid shooting and reloading with some speed-loaders...  just keep it minute of deer accurate...  I'd like to see it on a SRH strength action too...

A top break Lemat style revolver in .22 LR with a .45 long colt/.410 barrel 3" long.  I think it would be a nice tackel box gun.

GS44, the 9x23 carbine/pistol combo would be TOO cool. I have an IPSC open division Para Ordnance in 9x23. I regularly shoot it off a bench at a 6" steel circle at 100 yd, getting about 7-8 out of 10 hits. It is amazingly accurate. I have considered a CCU (Carbine Conversion Unit) with a Para frame and the CCU upper. I would shorten the barrel to 16.25" and flute the barrel. The darn things are heavy. An M1 carbine-like version would be awesome!

The reason they don't make what you want is simple, they don't CARE what you want. That is the modern corporate mentality. Produce what everyone else is producing but find an overseas  manufacturer to produce it cheaper and hire a marketing firm to hype it up and convince you that it IS what you want. This is the "information age", if manufacturers cared at all what you want they would ask that question on their websites. Do any of them request "user feedback"? No, in fact the Ruger website is messed up and I can't even find a way to tell them their website doesn't work! They clearly don't want to hear from me.

Just bring back the Dan Wesson revolvers. Interchangable barrels, ported and non-ported, full underlug and standard shrouds, and  fixed and adjustable sights. And make it affordable for the common working guy can afford one

Isn't the 500 S&W already a HOWDA pistol??

You know why hunters carried the Howda pistol? In case a tiger leaped up on the elephant they were riding.
It came from the hunters yelling " HOWDA heck did that thing get up here?"

Simple, because they want to make the most money for the least investment possible, the easiest way possoble and not compete with another product directly.

I'd like a DA revolver slightly larger than a NAA Black Widow, perhaps in .32 mag, with a trigger guard, in stainless.
I like my NAA revolvers, but I want a little more than .22 mag.

How about a S&W TRUE medium frame revolver? The J frame is quite small and the K frame is actuality extremely large.

Understand about using the NAA 5-shooters as a model for a .32Mag / .327Mag sub-J Frame size revolver! (that would indeed be neat!)

I wish NAA would come out with a 6inch version of their Mini-Master, or even a slightly larger-framed 6-shot (sub-JFrame size) double action wheelgun in .22 caliber.

Wish S&W would expand production and choices with their M317's, would want a round butt 4 or 5 or 6incher!

Wish Thompson/Center would offer their Hot Shot singleshot in all the other rimfires besides the Long Rifle.

Would also like to see a handgun verion of the Hot Shot, too.

Wish Ruger would remake the Service Six/Speed Six/Security six wheelguns in .38/.357Mag, but also an 8-shoot version of that gun in a .327 Fed Mag, and 5-shot in .41 Special and even .41Mag.

H&R/Remington Hand-Rifle needs to be offered in .30-40Krag and or 7.62X54R Russ.

Id like to see polymer guns disappear completely. Id like to see highly polished, blued guns again. No more spray coatings. Id like to see a Handi Rifle come in a higher grade with walnut wood and no plastic. Id also like to see an H& R double shotgun either SxS or O/U. Id like more rifles offered with Mannlicher stocks. Id like to see good, adjustable triggers, no built in safety locks on everything. I guess we could all go on and on. Ill quit with this. I wish we could change the focus of most of todays shooters from " tactical " i.e. fantasy involving the shooting of people....back towards target shooting and hunting. Seems like today everyone wants to be a gunfighter. That saddens me.
