I've always used Leupold. I often wonder if there are other manufacturers whose products are comporable to the VXIII line, and similarly priced or better bargains. What is your opinion?

I have a Nikon that's great, about the same price as a Leupold. A friend has a Pentax which ain't bad, and about 1/2 the price. We'll see how long it holds up to his .300 Mag.

The Bushnell Elite series is unbeatable IMO.

I compared a VXIII, a Ziess Conquest, and a Bushnell 4200 Elite at the same time, all were 6-20x50, the Conquest was the best, and the Leupold second. At that time the Ziess had a 1 year warranty, bought the Leupold.
