Exotic Stands

The first sketch is what I have been using for a tree stand for the last couple years.   The hook at the top beam is to hang a "sling" or hammock type chair from.  Without the chair, you can still stand or sit on any of the rungs and easily see and shoot in any direction.

This year, though, I thought maybe I needed a little more secure platform for my fat, aging body.  This photo gives you a good idea of what I mean.

I dont know, but you might be better off with open sights. The steam might fog up the scope.
