So the other day a bunch of stuff came in on trade and one item was a small red Bear fiberglass bow. It's so pretty that I hate to not shoot it before I (likely) give it to someone. On the fiberglass there's a decal that says "Bear Glass-Powered Cub", on the wood is written "9P4387 AMO 60" 35#" and on another part of the fiberglass there are some patent numbers and the number "1953." I don't believe there are any vendors here that would have a string so I need to order one, and I need to locate some arrows. I will need to use mailorder. There's a group of people here that shoot once or twice a week in an old storefront so I will probably stop by there (rather than lose arrows in the snow). Does anyone have advice as to type and length of string? Any advice about arrows for indoor target shooting? Like so many people, it's been over 40 years since I last drew a bow although there was a time when I shot a bow like this (though somewhat heavier) many hours each week. Fiberglass arrows were an innovation about the time I became interested in so many other pursuits. Thanks.
