No Huntsman barrels on the shelves yet.
« on: November 06, 2007, 03:33:08 PM »
I spoke with Mary at H&R today and asked about the ML barrels.  She went to check and when she came back she said she looked and there wasn't a single one on the shelves.  She didn't say how long of a wait, but said to send the receiver in and they would fit when one came in.  She also said they only get a small supply at a time.  ANy body get one lately?

As an added question, does Green Mountain still make the ML barrels for H&R?....<><....:)

H&R does have some 24 inch Stainless Huntsman barrels in stock, priced at $87, same as blued, barrels are made by Marlin. ;)

I'd say the Marlin made barrels are as good as they get, take a look at any of my .444 Marlin Handi range reports, the good shooting .44mag barrels that are now available were made by Marlin too, as well as most current chamberings as far as I know.! ;D
