Someone wants to sell me another Contender...

Howdy all,

Just got off the phone with a fellow selling a easy open Contender (Non-G2), with both pistol and rifle hardware.

The pistol barrel is a blue 14" 30-30 with a Burris 4x scope.
The rifle barrel is a blue 21" 7mm TCU with sights and a scope base/rings, but no scope.
Std. walnut stock and forearm for the carbine.
Hard carrying case comes with it all.

He's looking for around $550.00 for the set. If I do pick it up, I'll probably sell of the 30-30 barrel & scope.

I'm thinking the TCU might be fun for my 11 year old daughter - but I'm not sure I want to add it my list of things I reload for.

I'll know more later today.

Sounds like a great deal.  If the barrels are shooters I dont know how you could go wrong.  Enjoy.

  Well, I have killed a few deer and a BUNCH of ground hogs with the 7tc/u in 14" and 21" versions. It is usually quite accurate and has little recoil. Loading data is every where. you MIGHT have to cut the stock to fit the girl. I did for my neice,but I had/have a back up for when I want to use the carbine barrel.
