Now I am thinking about a 22 mag insert for the Valmet 12 barrel...

Given MCA is in Anchorage, AK,  Drilling Man might know of them.

Thanks Dough, We'll see what DM has to say about them. I do get to Anchorage about twice a year and I have 2 daughters that live there. Next time I get up there I'll check them out.

I wonder how their prices and quality compare with Kreigoff? The prices sure sound reasonable to me.

Dough, I'm looking at a used Kreigoff drilling. Waiting for DMs final opinion. He sure is a blessing to a new-be like me to the drilling world.

There is NO comparison!  The anchoroid ones go "bang"....  The Krieghoff ones go "bang" and then actually hit what your shooting at!  Krieghoff inserts shoot like a quality bolt action and that's why the Krieghoff inserts aren't cheap...

  Check out these groups...

That's how an insert "should" shoot!

Thanks...  i've already had dealings with Fronkonia in the past, and they have always been good to deal with...

Yes the "inserts" are expensive, but i'd "much" rather have my inserts in my gun, than another 22 or ever two 22's...
