Set up my deer stands today.

Took a slightly used wooden cable reel, flopped it on its side, took a slightly used swivel office chair, put it on top, placed this on a corner of an alfalfa field adjoining and overlooking a large wood lot, did this again where two wood lots meet corner to corner. Cost of materials, Zero, entertainment value, priceless. I'm ready, my M1A is ready, anybody else ready?

I am ready. I will be dressed in 100% blaze orange and heading to the deer woods on opening weekend. Time to make some memories. Good luck and have a safe hunting.

REady.  Have a 2-man stand up for me and my daughter to hunt her first time.  Put some burlap around it to hide a little movement.  Will go in tomorrow and make sure we have an easy clear and quiet path in.  Gonna put a few hooks in the tree to hang our backpacks, food, etc.  My goal is to keep her as comfortable as possible and really enjoy it.

I shot 3 deer from near here last year.  My dad also hunts  nearby us.  Also, I've seen a monster while bowhunting, once at 45 yds and another at 20 yds--no shot either time though :(  He just wouldn't come closer or clear the brush.

HECK YEAH I AM READY!!  I don't know how I will be able to concentrate at work this week.  Going Pheasant hunting tomorrow, then getting my gear ready while i watch football.  What a day!  Good luck to all, be safe out there!
