OUR HEROS !!!!!
« on: November 10, 2007, 10:33:11 AM »
This Is Not A Place To Gripe About The War!
I want to thank all of the people who have served in any branch of our military or even the military of our allies. If not for you and the millions before you, we would not even be here today. You and yours have sacrificed so much that most people have never even imagined. Even if your only sacrifice was the weeks of of training and then a couple weekends a month.
Here I hope you will all name at least one veteran or any person who has served in the armed services of the United States of America or it's allies, I hope you will name your selves if applicable. I hope that you will post their name, rank, or any other pertinent information about them or their service.

This Is Not A Place To Gripe About The War!
I ask that you please post another topic if you want to gripe about the war and I hope that our moderators will move any negative posts to another topic.

Happy Veterans Day Weekend!

I personally want to thank:

38 views and no replies? Come on guys surely you can support or remember a veteran or a person who has served!
I can't be the only one on here who can think of like 30 people who have served in the armed services of the United States of America or her allies! Lets show some love to our troops, past and present! We could not even have guns if not for all of them!
We don't have to stop replying just because the weekend is over! It is always a good time for honor!

I support all that have served and thank them. I feel no need to list them.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

My late Uncle Beryl Sink, 17th. Airborne. Went into Germany in a Glider, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, 3 Bronze Stars. Wouldn`t talk about his Service till near the end of his life. The Day he passed he asked my Aunt if she thought God would forgive him for shooting a German Sniper that was shooting at him. By the way, he was an excellant builder of Muzzleloaders.

those men in those gliders  are still unbelievable to me, I read some where that after they drove the Germans inland some one decide to round the usable gliders setting around  in case we needed them again out of the 1500+ gliders towed over only 15 were salvaged  glider pilots wore a set of wings with a G in the center they said the G stood for Guts   I think they should have had BB on the wings
