PSE Archery
« on: November 12, 2007, 07:03:46 AM »
I'm thinking about buying a bow to play around with and learn how to shoot.  I've got no knowledge of archery equipment and have no desire to play with a compound bow.  For some reason it just does not appeal to me.  I've been thinking of buying a bow from PSE, either the Seqoia, the Optima or the Buckeye.  I'm a lefty and all of these come in a left handed version.  Are these decent quality bows?  Are there other quality recurves out there I should consider?  I did a little searching through here but did not come up with a whole lot of info.

Just a suggestion: go to stickbow.com and to tradgang.com for tons of info.  Ask questions because you will have answers from very knowledgeable traditional bow shooters and hunters from all over the country.  They are all great guys who are very anxious to share any experiences with you.

The short answer: yes, there are many, many recurve bows out there that are as good as and, in my opinion, better than the PSE stuff from overseas.  Check out the two web sites above.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Best of luck, Arch
