Dispatching opossums

Is it usually difficult to dispatch opossums?

the best way to do it is break there neck.put your foot on there head and grab there back feet and pull up.its quick.

Man!, fishdaddy you are brave, i don't think i could do that, i don't have the guts, unless the opossum is doing the slow thing that they do,then maybe i could do it.

I lay a strong stick across their neck and pull the tail as was mentioned above. It i s fast and not messy at all.

bbwli  method works just fine.  Take your time and you will find it is easy to do.  The ol grinner will show his teeth, just take it slow and you can grab his tail and proceed in the uthanization.   When fleshing possum be carefull and easy on belly as  belly hairs do pull thru some.   Some is okay, just take it easy ... a piece of thread bar with 3 nuts on the end. Quick and clean. I am thinking on getting a little NAA Black widow though.

I do what fishdaddy does. Foot on back of the neck and a sharp pull on the back legs. Very fast.
