Only if you have a machine shop or a good gunsmith in mind.

That's a tough choice.

I wish we could get both of those rounds in a Handi.

What do you plan on using the rifle for??

If and when I decide to build this rifle it would be a cross over rifle between Groundhogs, Deer and a lot of long range paper shooting. I want to build a rifle that I can do several things well. I would like to be able to shoot paper and Groundhogs out to 600 yards. I plan on going with quick detachable rings so I can have two different scopes for what I plan on doing with it at the time I use it. I am thinking maybe a Burris 6x24x44 scope for the long range work.  http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00023200824 and a Burris 3x9x40 for hunting Deer. I really think this is my dream set up and hope I can do it someday. Dale        http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00023200161

Have you seen the new Bushnell 6500 series.
6.5 time magnification, 2.5-16 or 4.5-30 power.
One scope for all.
