45/410 range report
« on: November 14, 2007, 02:46:14 PM »
Went to the range today for final sight in before deer camp got the ultra 20 shooting buck hammers better than the hasting lasers but just by a little it shoots 1.5-2" groups at 75 yrds. But I also took the 45/410 along to see how it would shoot the steel case russian 410 slugs not to well at all .The best I could get it to shoot was about 3.5-4" at 25 yrds  and I can do better than that with the tamer 410 off hand. So I hope I can make it shoot the 444 marlin brass with the .451 hornady bullet or with the 410 brass case or this ones down the road. Kurt
