TC G2 22LR match chamber and Stingers?

I have read in a couple of places that you can't use extended case ammo in TC's match configured chambers and want to know if it's true. I like Stingers for hunting and there are other extended Hyper velocity rounds out there I would like to try.

I believe that's correct. The case is too long for the chamber.

Nope, chamber's too short. You can insert the round and close the chamber, but  the bullet is engraved by the rifling in front of the chamber. Personally, I wouldn't shoot it that way.

Actually match chambers are designed to engrave the bullets  of target ammo also, mine does.

I believe the problem lies in that you are running the case part way into the throat area of the chamber. That can keep the case from expanding correctly causing high pressure and possibly chamber damage from the case mouth.    kN

I would be concerned about possibly messing up the throat and why take that chance with a bullet that hasn't proven very accurate anyway.  I have a T/C barrel chambered long just to allow me to shoot Stingers and other long case rounds.  None of them shoot with much accuracy at 50yds.  Velocitors do decent but if I want match type accuracy in my hunting bullets (and I do) I use the Eley HV HP and/or the S&K HV HP.  They shoot well in almost every gun I own the the Eley is very explosive.

If you try the Stingers let us know how it goes and if you have an accuracy problems with rounds that use to shoot well.

I have been shooting this carbine a bit lately. I have to say it is relaxing to steadily shoot an accurate rifle that has little noise or recoil. I've been to into the medium and large centerfires for a long time and they can turn into a chore if you don't watch out. It's time  I started putting more time in with the easy to shoot rifles.
