Hairtrigger, Thanks for the reply, I knew about Ruger but did not want to send complete rifle in and Ruger wont sell the forend outright as they want to fit it. I'm going to rebarrel to 22-250 Bull which voids warranty anyway . Numrich had some but they went quick, Brownells is selling #1 actions but no stocks maybe Bullbery makes them I was hoping somebody here would know right where to go .

Maybe a aftermarket stock maker. I would send it back in but its up to you. Send it back get the forearm and then rebarrel it.

Any after market maker can supply a fore arm but matching colors can be a problem.

It makes more sense to send it back and then re barrel it. Then you get one at no cost I believe and then you void the warranty. What caliber is it as its current setup?

It's currently in 300 Weatherby, it has a brake on it that produces so much down pressure that when shot off a rest it cracked the forend. I will probably remove the brake and machine a thread protector then ship it back to Ruger and pay them the 68.00 for a new one.I have an Abolt in 300 Winmag which I much prefer.

Ohh ok. If the muzzle break is factory I would tell them what happened and they should replace it free. Them remove the break adn machine a thread protector.

Great American Gun stocks has forends and because of the fire they have a very good sale on stocks you might get a complete set for under $150 or less.

Yeah if you can get the whole set then do it. Then they should match.
