Santa doesn't visit this AO anymore. Still have a couple of elves and a reindeer corpse on the wire from 1991! ;)

All I'm doing is handing the new Ruger merchandise catalog to Mrs Claus.  ;)  I'm buying myself another Ruger #1, we're taking a week in Disney on Christmas and in Feb I'm finding myself At the daytona 500.
Not into, spend on me, spend on me, and the lg pricey gifts that have all but become a neccessity on this holiday.  Instead, I'm perfectly content just watching the faces of the kids.

A mold & Lube/sizer would be nice...I have nothing at all for the centerfire handgun but have a good lead pot and a bunch of pure lead as I mold for three blkpwder calibers.
Have a couple hundred pounds of the pure stuff and have been gathering wheel weights.

Start going around to the tire shops in your area and collecting wheel weights(a lot of them). Car dealerships, tire repair shops, tire retailers, garages of any sort that sell tires. Get a couple of hundred pounds, if you can.

A woman is easy to buy gifts for.
It is difficult to purchase for a man.
I have been thinking on this subject and I think my next purchase will be a rifle.
I just can't come to further conclusions at this time.
Blessings

I have thought about this for a while and since I have far too many rifles and the like to carry and shoot at the same time, and way far too many in similar capabilities categories I have thought about another handgun or two.

I have noticed that the Romanian Tokarevs are now on the C&R list and both those and the Polish versions of the same are nicely priced.

But, I have always had this 'thing' for single action revolvers, especially the 1873 Colt and 1875 Remington reproductions, so I was thinking about shedding a few shoulder length shooters for one (or two) of the Cimarron made handguns.  Cimarron has this 'antique' finish that makes a brand spankin' new revolver look like it was made over 100 yrs ago and that is soooo cool.

So, maybe................. Mikey.

Santa toured my "take off" and unused items boxes and did a bunch of horse trading in my name.  He got me a DRAGOON grip frame for my Old Model 44 FLAT TOP (that fits perfectly!) and a DRAGOON and a HUNTER grip frame for my 44 Vaqueros and a replacement barrel for the shorty (that I can't shoot for beans!)  Now if he will just bring good enough weather to shoot when I'm on evenings or on week ends off,  I'll be a happy camper.

Best of all, while Santa was horse trading he introduced me to 2 Dogs, Mike B, MT Jerry, and Jussbad, among others.   I'm getting  to know a few people on the forums and find kindred souls.

I hope everyone has as good a holiday season as mine is shaping up to be.

I just can't narrow it down, I'd like a trapdoor or another dan wesson or a m1..... The list goes way beyond my ability to pay for them.

Well,
Santa made a deposit here a little early.
Yesterday I picked up, After my waiting period was over, a semi, read that as very semi used Sig P229 in 9mm with 3 mags.
It has so far, what the factory put through the gun plus 250 rounds the previous owner put through it to write an article about a 1 day shooting school.  It was just too good of a deal not to get it.
I ordered the holster and it gets shot this weekend if not sooner.
Scott are you out there??? Want to go to the range Friday afternoon?

A reloading press and all that goes with it.  I've accumulated enough brass that I may just cover about half of the cost in money saved versus buying more ammo off the shelf.

We'll see... ;D

Friday Santa delivered my Christmas bonus check, not a huge check, but enough for a new Ruger sp101 357. Of course, Santa forgot to tell me that my furnace would go out last night and set off the carbon monoxide detectors in our house. After calling the men in the big red truck with flashing lights to make sure it was safe to go back in the house, it cost $1600 against my home warranty to have a new furnace installed today. Not to mention only getting 4 house of sleep while keeping the fireplace going so we didn't freeze.

Man my heart goes out to you, I found out we were shutting down at work between the holidays.  I used up all my vacation days to go hunting so we're going to be a little short after christmas. But there's always the income tax refund. ;D

Lloyd..hope the #1 works for you...one of my all time favorites!!!

I'm not asking for much, I haven't seen anything I want that bad.....having said that, I'm just thankful to the Big Guy Upstairs for what he doesn't give me as much as for what he does.
