Rattlesnake recipes?

I plan to drive west again this summer and I hope to pop a few rattlesnakes while I am out there. Since I am very frugal by nature I like to eat what I shoot(PD's making the exception) . Any good campfire recipes for those things? I would appreciate any constructive criticism.

I've always had it breaded and fried. I guess you could use your favorite chicken or fish recipe and fry it up in a skillet over a fire.

I just cooked some Praire Rattler a couple of weeks ago for my troops.  The method I always use is to soak the meat in lemon juice for about 6 hours, then bread the meat and deep fry it in peanut oil.
