Went up to call some coyotes today with my Brother...
he's not one to use a handgun for any hunting.He took his .22-250 rifle...me :-D I took my 16.5" 300mag pistol.We got set-up in a big clear-cut and I started to call.Within 15min. a Yote came out slowly from the edge of the timber and sat down facing us.My Brother ranged him and said, to me "he's 341 yards I better take him with the rifle...your pistol can't make that shot."I just looked at him and said,ok and raised my 300mag cocked it and put the cross-hairs on the Yote's head.The 300mag let out a BOOMMMM and sent a 150gr XLC into the Yote's chest.It did the floppy Chicken and died.My Brother just looked at me with very big eye's :eek: and said,"WERE CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE PISTOLS"!!!! I didn't tell him that was the longest shot I have ever made.I just let him think I do it all the time.
