Guess he hasn't posted enough to make that kind of shot, or just needs a larger
weapon then he could make those shots. who are we to tell a man he needs to shoot 300-350
yards, to me their is a lot more to HUNTING than shooting 300-500 yards
FORGOT TO CK AND SEE HOW MANY POST I HAD. sorry if i offended anyone, but if i did you probably needed it

Who the hell said he had to shoot 300-500 yards or that he needed a larger weapon to make those shots...READ WHAT HAS BEEN SAID.........Covering all the bases isn't saying he has to,,,Even if they had...at 500 yards...there isn't a 25caliber bullet from a Handi that will make a clean kill if having to penetrate front to back from a 25-06...If you know of one...post about it...Also...Post count has nothing to do with it...and should never enter into a discussion by anyone...unless they know for an absolute fact the person is trying to cause trouble...not just assuming they are...

You stated your thread with"opening another can" and then asked a question you already knew the answer to,its not an elk round, not at any range in my opinion, what did you expect?People arnt going to hold your hand and explain over and over when they know you expect an argument, you made that obvious with your thread title.
If it aint fair chase its FOUL,and illegal in my state!

OK! Mac
you were the one that said what if the shot is 350 or more, after the man said he was
planning on shooting at 200 or less, he also said he passed a shot at a deer at 300 because he felt it was too long, I HAVE READ WHAT WAS POSTED. The man ask a simple question and a few of YOU took it an argumentive stage, you can't even answer a question with
out telling a person how stupid they are for even asking. i don't remember any one saying a 25cal would shoot through an animal at 500 yds, guess i missed that. some of you seem
to think it is your place to correct every person that makes a post, and more or less
tell them how much smarter you are. someone told me that comes under the heading
of CHILDISH.

Ok fellas, I think Stu has received enough opinions to make his own decision, there's no need to continue this.

Thanks for your contributions,
