Just like a junkie.  I can hardly keep up with all my other firearm wants and then I start reading your reports on the K31 and before you know it I have placed my order.  It should be here any day now.  I sent off for a St. Maries clamp on mount and have a worthy scope waiting here to add.  Grafs is sending a selection of ammo and I will soon be feeding another addiction.  Can't wait.  My first straight pull action and what neat history. 

Then comes the 6.5 Swede and then and then.....Shame on all of you,gulfdaddy

No K31 but i have a 96 sweed and wholly cow is it fun to shoot.  I have had a few of the short rifles and someone has talked me out of them but I will hang on to my 96.  If you can find the 131 grain Seller and Bellot ammo the rifle is a laser.  Your results may vary.

If you want to have some fun, shoot that K31 for a while without the scope. If it is like mine, it'll do wonders for your ego.

I opened up the safe the other day and lost count of how many swiss k31's I have.  I purchased them when they were only $79.  I just wished I purchased more swiss ammo back then. :'(

The swede 6,5mm mauser, the swiss k31 and the finnish m39 mosin are suppose to be the top 3 most accurate military rifles.  Some of the russian 91/30's shoot pretty accurate too.

Hey Mikey  I guess the next generation of surplus military collectors has arrived?  You can tell by the numbers of our posts were the old timers now for sure?
