Count me out
« on: June 21, 2003, 02:55:15 PM »
I sold my Glock 22. I could shoot it with exceptional accuracy. It never jambed. It is/was a fantastic pistol. I sold it because it just never "felt" right in my hand. I bought it to get in on the craze but the thing just never felt at home in my hand. I've sold several Colt revlovers in the past because they didn't fit me like a Smith does. Picky feller but if it don't fit I just don't want it.

Well Rick you got to find what you like.  I like 1911's as well as Glocks but, I have had more problems with 1911's and that gets expensive.

I like the Glocks because of no sharp edges for CCW purposes, I carry a G-27 and love it.  But am looking at the .45 line up again

I find no fault in your reasoning behind selling your G-22, you got to like the fit.

I've always felt like the 1911's were a extension of my own hand, they fit like they were made for me.  I also have just bought a Para Ordance 12/45 that  I believe will be with me forever. The 1911 style, for me, is perfect. Browning his self was thinking of me when he thought this one up. I'm funny like that, I only keep guns that "feel" right to me. It's just gotta feel right. Any one else like that?

I am like that, but I will still keep the gun (I can't let them go)!!  :) you made the right decision though. if it doesn't feel right... it doesn't feel right. you need to be comfortable and that is the bottom line.
Cheers,
