Springfield 45 longslide
« on: December 06, 2007, 04:55:15 PM »
Hello,

I'm new to the sight, so this topic may have been beaten to death. I bought the longslide several years ago and if I recall it is capable of shooting the 45 super round. I was wondering if anyone here has tried this round and what were the results?

I don't think I would attempt that--matter of fact I don't think it would fit---but capable---sure with some amount of work by a smith---not an insignificant amount either.
Mikey, a few others, more technically informed than I should chime in on this one.
Blessings
