good price on a used encore???

Found a used encore(blued) with walnut stock. Comes with 308 barrel with Simmons scope,ML barrel with iron sites, 2 boxes of 308 ammo, box of Prodex pellets,sabots,sling and case for $500. Haven't seen it yet but he does say its in excellent condition. If i do get it like to upgrade to a pro hunter stock and a new Pin

sounds like a good deal to me. you will pay more than that for just a standard encore with nothing extra new.Superdown

I would agree.  If it is in good shape that is an excellent price.  Only thing is you have to have a different forarm for the ML barrel than the 308 barrel.  The other thing is if you are going to upgrade to the prohunter stock I would price a new prohunter and see what the price difference is.  You might be further ahead to buy new and add a different barrel later.
