Model 1895XLR?

Does this model have the drilled holes for a peep sight, in the left side of the receiver? I know the new 1895SG doesn't have these.

No Marlins made after 2000 come with the receiver sights mount holes on the side.  Williams and Lyman have both adapted their sights to use the last two scope mount holes.
We learn something new everyday whether we want to or not.
