First off any report I make about how a bullet performs for me is not crap. Second bullets made for diameters such as .284 which have small, medium and large case capacities and accompanying velocity differences are not going to please everyone. Diameters like the .243 have it a bit easier as all of them are 3000 fps cartridges and making a good bullet is much simpler. Also bullets have different uses in mind such as Partitions being better for bone shooters and Gamekings or SST's working better for those who prefer not to slam bullets into shoulders. Some of us, myself included like bullets that open quickly, are accurate and have tips that don't batter in the magazine. I don't need a bonded bullet for deer either so I may get some SST's to try on a deer or two next year.
As a matter of point in context read the topic of this thread "with reference to the extensive ballistic tip thread"

I really could care less. I stand by what I said. You are NOT impartial in this discussion. I'm not going to make a big deal about it. GB can read what he wants and do what he wishes. I've had my say and I'm sure you'll have yours. Next subject?
You stand by what you said but you don't know why you said it as you did not read the post. There is no point in accusing others of a smear campaign from another thread & start the nonsense again as is being attempted here. Again, I should not have to explain to someone who did not know what the post said.

Nonya, I deleted your post because I see no logic or anything constructive about dragging up the same stuff that caused other threads to be locked. Bill has asked you in a matter that anyone can understand to refrain from this & it is time to bring it to a close.
Nomo you and logic will never mix,you deleted it because you are one of the guys who decided to start this argument, you enforcing the rules of this forum is a joke, you have been one of the rudest people i have ever met here on GBO and I doubt your new mod status is going to improve your attitude. My post that you just deleted was IN NO WAY OUT OF LINE,you have already begun to abuse you status and Im willing to bet you will continue until removed. The trash can should be viewable by all so they can see how full of S&%$ you really are.I have used Nosler Partitions for over 20 years and would have no problem using them again on any game, anywhere, the only smear campaign being run is the one you and your little buddy's have launched against me with all your PMs to Bill (yes he told me about them) and your insults in your posts that you know will get a response out of me,now you are going to delete anything I post,GROW UP.

Evidently, I don't delete posts for no reason, I let this one stand. By your standards it is a very nice & thoughtful post, almost sensitive, keep up the good work.

You talk like you shoot deer in the ribs, and don't need a well constructed bullet. In one of your other posts about shooting does, you admit to shooting one in the spine. Bone shooter!
The crap that was refered to, was not in the text of your opinion. It was labeled by nomo, in reference to the mess in the other thread. As far as the construction of bullets. A bullet is made for various uses depending on what one is planning to use them for. It does't matter if it is a .284 or a .243. If brand A has a "hunting" (big game) bullet, it is made to perform as a hunting bullet. .243, .257, or .284, they are made to do the same job. If you don't feel a .243 is enough for deer that's fine. Don't assume they are made different. Having made bullets in the past I know a little about it.

I didn't start the thread. I have read the posts. Don't tell me what I know or don't. Get over yourself.

I don't have time to get involved with this tonight so I'm gonna lock it for now and tomorrow when I have time I'll sort it out and unlock if that seems prudent.

After looking it over I see no benefit to reopening this thread and lots of disadvantages so it will remain locked.
