Boggy? How about...... Rat info
« on: December 09, 2007, 04:30:32 AM »
How about putting some info on skinning  and putting up rats for our new  trappers on line that come here.  You and i take these things for granted as like breathing but i remember my first rat......NOW WHAT DO I DO WITH IT.....LOL!  Any rate this little project for you would  at least get the rat fat off your fingernails and give your fleshing knife a rest!

Lee, have about 175 pelts in the freezer(muskrats) Mike and I only trapped fur the first few days.
HE was passing up so much ADC work,I suggested we pull the fur line.We have been doing a lot of squirrel work, with a few beaver and coon mixed in.
We hope to start on hut rats soon.At that time I will get photos on step by step instuctions on rats skinning and put up(both wire and wood).
While squirrels may pay the bills--nothing beats trapping rats.
