I have three of T/C 2-7's and really like them.  Thing I like about them the best is that even though their specs say the eye relief changes at the higher magnifications, it is still long enough on 7x for me to shoot with my arms extended.  They are as clear and bright as my Leupold, Nikon and Burris.

A few months ago I would have given the vote to Burris, now I'm not sure. Burris has been purchased by Berretta, and quality has taken a downward turn. I purchased a 2-7x Burris 3 weeks ago to go on Project 41 (as the permanent optic), and have a major parallex problem on 7x, and the crosshairs are "broken". The left side horizontal line turns downward after center.

Now, Burris was contacted about this. They did respond back saying that all I needed to do was send it to them and the service center would address my problems. Great........2-3 weeks to repair a brand new scope!! I was let down, this is my third Burris, but its not like the others.

I always read about how good Burris handgun scopes were. I bought one in January, for my 7-30. As far as I am concerned, I threw $250.00 away. I had to send it back because the variable adjustment was jammed and the elevation adjustment did not work. It also had debris inside. After two weeks the scope was returned "repaired and inspected". The variable works but I have yet to check the internal adjustment. The debris is still in the scope, I did not mention it to them and I guess they missed it in the "inspection".

I have quite a few of the T/C pistol scopes and a few of the other brands, however no Burris.

Although there are noticable differences between the brands, I don't find anything about the T/C Recoil Proof scopes to be in anyway unaccaptable.  I have a number of the lighted reticule models and really find that feature useful.

Plus, even if your ride over it with your truck I am sure T/C would replace it with their warranty.

i dont think you will find a better warranty than T/C i sent a 3 power back to them with broke internal this was my fault the rings worked loose i sent it in told them it was my fault to fix it and send me a bill they sent me back in about 2 weeks a 2.5x7 N/C tor my money its T/C they proved to me to stand behind their product even when it wasnt their fault i know of no other company anywhere of anykind that would even stand behind abuse and neglect they have a customer for life in me  i just wished they would make a red dot just my .02      P.S. yes Thomas i still think they would stand behind it if it had tire prints  :D  :-D
