500 S&W owners?

Have any of you that own the 500 Handi slugged your bore to see what the measurements are?
If so, what were they?

Sorry, I would post but I couldn't dig into the back stop enough to recover some cast performace, I recently test fired.  It's been raining for weeks here and I'll bet it was deeper than a foot.  I gave up trying.  If I get another chance I'll try again.  Maybe I'll take a shovel. ;D

Hi Jerry, Thanks for the reply.
I was just wondering if anyone has taken one of the egg shaped lead sinkers and pushed them into and back out of the bore and measured the lands and grooves from the sinker.
Don't go through all of that trouble trying to find one of those Cast Performance bullets, it might take a back-hoe to actually find one!

I did one when I got mine last year, finally found it!! .495" lands and .5015" to .502" groove, depending on where I measure it.

The groove size is why I want to try the 385gr Rem Core-lokt Ultras, they're indentical in diameter to the groove depth. ;)
