I shoot 25 grains of 2230 and a 52 grain speer hollow point in my 223 contender .This load seems to produce a good group.Itried 40 grain bullets didn't have much luck but every gun is different. good luck

I am using the 52 gr Sierra HPBT and 25 gr of 2230 with great results. It shoots sub 1/2" groups at 100 yds out of my Contender with 14" factory barrel.
