hey guys! who has the best deal on ak rifles. i bought a romanian a while back and i love it. i would like to customize it with a stock from ironwood, maybe a laminate stained green in the fashion of the ruger laminates they put on some stainless 10-22 rifles. but would still like to have another beater ak for the farm truck.

I would keep your Present Kalishinikov (your 47) as the truck gun.  If you were in the market for another AK, definitely buy the AK-74 in the 5.45mm round.  This is a far superior weapon to the older AK-47.  It shoots better, and has a new operating system that puts the Kalisnikov and the AR/M-16 series to shame.
