I see both Federal and Corbon are now offering 480 Ruger ammunition with the 275 gr Barnes DPX bullets. Federal quotes 1350 fps, but Corbon quotes 1550 fps. I looked on the Hodgdon site and they have no loads listed for 275gr DPX or Gold Dot bullets. From what I have read, the solid copper bullets do not have the same pressure response that jacketed bullets have. I imagine I could purchase a new Barnes reloading manual and they will have loads for it.
Have any of you seen loads for this combination anywhere else?
