300rum

Got a buddy that's going to get a 300wm barrel and ream out to 300rum. Every prohunter barrel I have shoots very well. thought about having one done for myself. I feel the biggest plus is I can load to the OAL that I need. Any thoughts.

I thought the rum's and wsm's were a little to hard on weaker actions and thats why they aren't factory chambered.  Is this not the case with the PH setup.  I guess you could just load them a little cooler than norm pressures.  I like the idea though!   Brett
