.22 lr Encore without rimfire adapter.........
« on: June 25, 2003, 07:24:21 AM »
I have an 18 inch 22 lr bull barrel on the way from one of our beloved barrel makers(name withheld for now per his request) that doesn't use a rimfire adapter. The target he sent me showed .800 for 5 shots at 100 yds with one of the bulk boxed ammo. Not sure how it works but will post targets and pic's of barrel when I receive it, it should be next week or so. Thanks for looking and I'll keep everyone posted.

Hard to quote a price as there were some other things in the deal. The barrel is off center just a bit. There is an ever so slight gap along the barrel where it meets the frame but I have seen factory barrels that have had almost that much gap. It is really hard to notice unless looking straight down from the top. Will post pic's as soon as I get some and have someone show me how.
