I can't get the link to open.

However by looking at the surrounding landscape I am going to say that the critter pictured is way to small to be a lion or any derivative thereof. It looks like a black house cat to me.

Yes, that looks like blades of grass in the background.

Now, the /cat/ might regard himself as a panther (g).
