http://www.usatoday.com/news/quickquestion/2007/november/popup5895.htm

This same poll was submitted under Round the Ole Pot Bellied Stove under "USA Today Poll on the Second Amendment".  I responded to the poll in Nov.  At that time I posted the polls results.  The volume of voters then was 38460 with results almost an exact mirror image of the results posted here.  Notice that the poll volume has increased substantially over 3 times since then.  I think it is extremely clear now that the populace considers the 2nd Amendment to be an individual right.  I think I'll send this poll to my Congressmen.

Impressive but. I wonder who the 2% are? Politician's? If that's the case we need to throw them out! Actually I'm in favor of throwing out every single one for the next two general elections, don't care who they are. Now that would certainly let them know who's country this really is! The pro-gun people in government haven't done enough. 2% of that vote said no!

You have got to be kidding me! Just because we may disagree on some things, I doubt we do on that. No, I know we don't on that! Go to your room!

Ninety-seven percent YES, hey Sarah Brady, put that in your pipe and smoke it!! ;D   I wonder how NPR would explain that away, oh I know, they just won't ever mention it at all. I've never understood how anyone could disagree but the media in general has promoted that three percent to give the impression they are at least a very large segment of the public, if not the majority. It's good to see that myth exploded.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

This is so true that NPR would go into a tizzy about the results of this poll.  And that is what really irritates me as NPR is a publicly funded radio new source.  Some of its funding comes from our tax dollars and used to support the collective firearms or anti firearms myth.  And it is a myth.
