22lr encore scope base question

hello all

my question is does the 22lr barrel for the encore take the same scope bases as all other encore barrels
the 22lr is flat on top where the other are round. is there a special base for the flat top of the 22lr or does it just take the bases from the regular barrels

I've heard the regular scope mount will work but T/C actually makes one just for the rimfires.  The only place I've seen that carries it is EABCO.
