Locking lugs

It's about time they rounded the bottoms of the contender locking lugs.On the new 22lr bull carbine barrel that I bought from Ed's the lugs are rounded like the encore. They seem to lock a little smoother. Are they the same on the handgun barrels?

They are rounded on the last two new ones I recently purchased.

Rounding on the bottom of the locking lugs has nothing to do with how they lock. Only makes the movement toward locking position smoother.
tetra gun lube will help make this smooth with the older lugs.
